As the Lead Website Developer at a digital marketing agency, I manage 15 websites, utilizing WordPress,
Elementor, custom CSS, PHP, and HTML. My background includes extensive experience with CSS, PHP, MySQL,
and
HTML, and I'm a self-motivated learner, exploring React and Vue.js. Outside of work, I enjoy family
time,
dog
walks, and visits to Swansea. My passions lie in mental health research and computers, which I've
integrated
in
my academic work, including my Bachelor's and Master's dissertations on education, mental health, and
human-computer interaction.

Showroom Network is a digital marketing agency
created by R O Arnold to advertise and increase the
online presence of smaller, local businesses in the
Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom industry
- I am the only website developer working on 15
websites within the company

I have worked across the websites utilising
WordPress as well as developing an online social
media presence for the brands and collaborating
with the companies to develop media campaigns,
and ad campaigns

certifications via work, and I have also been in
charge of the SEO for the 15 websites over the past
year and a half and have grown the websites
successfully via keyword research and content

Junior Website Developer
Working alongside two other developers I handled the creation and updates for Pikawiz.com
- SQL Database updates for new card releases for the Trading Card Game
- Created the Deck Builder Application using PHP, HTML, CSS and SQL
- Used a custom framework based on Twig to manage the website and create a pack opener
allowing
users to open 'virtual' packs to try and maximise profits.
2019 - 2021
Student Outreach, Student Ambassador & Student Demonstrator
Worked as various roles within the University in the Computer Science Department
- Student Outreach consisted of aiding the teaching of Computer Science to children
aged 5

years old.
- Student Demonstrator in Stage 1 Practicals helping students with Java and Python
Programming
coursework and exams.
- As an ambassador I spoke to Prospective students and their family about life in the
University
and the degrees we had available, I ran icebreaker sessions with over 100 applicants
and
also
gave talks to smaller groups regarding the projects we are expected to complete.

Throughout my education at Newcastle University, I developed my skills in the following

Java, HTML, CSS, Twig, PHP.
I managed a team project in second year and specialised in Human Computer Interaction in my 3rd
and
4th
year, I completed 2 dissertations over my time at the University, my first project developed an
application to aid Primary School Teachers with the Computer Science Curriculum. My second
dissertation
linked my two passions, computer science and mental health, focussing on a tool to aid
University
lecturers and staff with student mental health.
